The neapolitan with a passion for the sea

Francesca Fucile is a woman addicted to the sea, always scanning the horizon for new and exciting challenges.

What stages of your career have you completed?
I studied architecture at the University of Federico II in Naples and subsequently worked in various architectural firms. These professional experiences led to the realization that visualization is the dimension where I can fully express myself. Therefore, I decided to move to Venice and pursue a postgraduate master's degree in Digital Architecture (MADI).

What is your personal superpower—and how do you use it?
My greatest strength is attention to detail and a keen sense of interior spaces. This "superpower" helps me create a visual narrative and give emotional depth to interiors. Every detail must work harmoniously together and tell an interesting visual story that feels alive. It's so exciting!

What brought you to Nightnurse?
I have always been fascinated by architecture. But I realized that the part of the process I loved the most was visualization. For me, it is far more than just supporting architectural composition - it is a communicative and powerful carrier of ideas and emotions! That's why I decided to deepen my skills with a postgraduate master's degree in Digital Architecture. Nightnurse allowed me to start my career as a visualizer.

Which spaces or places particularly fascinate you and why?
I grew up in a coastal town in the province of Naples, at the entrance to the Sorrentine Peninsula and near the picturesque Amalfi Coast. I have a deep connection to the sea. I love looking at the sea and getting completely lost in it, lulled by the sound of the waves and intoxicated by its scent. For me, the sea means introspection, it is home, and I carry it with me when I am far from it. Equally, I am fascinated by large and colorful cities as well as the unique charms of nature with its green landscapes.

What is the most beautiful thing that has ever been visualized?
The short film "The Third and The Seventh" by Alex Roman is pure poetry. This artwork remains unparalleled even several years after its release, despite today's advanced technology. Every frame of this video is a timeless expression of human creativity, conceived and realized with heart and soul. It is very inspiring and has had a great impact on me! Aesthetically, I am also fascinated by the architectural photographer Julius Shulman with his use of composition and the painter Caravaggio for his masterful and impressive use of light.

What do you love doing, when you're not working as a Nightnurse?
I love going for walks! It is the perfect way to take a refreshing break and clear my mind. It helps me return to work with new energy and focus. Additionally, I enjoy spending time with friends, having a glass of wine, or enjoying a good dinner.
