The troubleshooter with a passion for technology
François Egreteau studied landscape architecture in France. He continues to cultivate his love of nature in his garden. Professionally, the visualizer is the perfect problem solver and puts the finishing touches to pictures.
What professional background do you have?
I studied landscape architecture in France and then worked for several years in various smaller landscape architecture firms. I then joined the renowned "Agence ter" office in Paris, where I was project manager for 10 years, including for international competitions. In 2015, I followed my partner to Switzerland and worked as a 3D visualizer and sub-project manager at Atelier OÏ near Biel. Since 2016 I have been working passionately as a visualizer at Nightnurse!
What is your personal superpower - and how do you use it?
I am a multitasker. I find it easy to solve technical problems. My colleagues often come to me for this and I always say: "You don't have any problems, you're just looking for solutions." I'm also pretty good at managing complex or large-scale projects, which I was able to pick up from my past as a project manager.
What brought you to Nightnurse?
The focus on the end of the design process, the visualization. My passion lies in putting the finishing touches to a project with excellent visualization, perfecting it, so to speak. Nightnurse appealed to me because we share the same values of knowledge sharing and mutual respect.
Which spaces or places fascinate you the most and why?
I have always had a passion for the visual realization of ideas. After working on long-term projects for several years, I specialized in competitions and, of course, 3D images. What started as a passion has become a specialty. When I moved to Switzerland, I found the perfect place at Nightnurse to pursue this passion.
What is the most beautiful thing you have ever visualized?
A stunning natural garden we visualized for a bank – it looks like paradise!
What dou you love doing, when you're not working as a Nightnurse?
I spend a lot of time with my family and love organizing dinners with friends at home. I enjoy good products and natural wine. My passion for cooking comes from my father. My large garden complements this well: from spring to autumn, there's plenty to do, and much of what grows there ends up in one of my culinary creations!
