The dreamer and storyteller with a brush.
Lorenzo Lucchiari, an architect and storyteller, combines his passion for architecture, cinematography, and philosophy in his creative work.
What stages of your career have you completed?
I studied architecture in Italy and have since worked in architectural firms near Bologna, focusing mainly on architectural competitions and public buildings, particularly museums. My fascination with museums and art led me to learn new methods such as 3D programs to create architectural drawings. At Nightnurse Images, I work as a junior team member, where I continue to develop my skills.
What is your personal superpower - and how do you use it?
My strength is my imagination. I am always curious to learn new ways to tell stories with images and bring my creative ideas to life.
What brought you to Nightnurse?
The aesthetic sense of Nightnurse's visualizations, which are sometimes hyper-realistic but with a painterly touch, reminds me of fantastic parallel worlds. This inspiration drives me to visualize not just buildings but also to create backstories. At Nightnurse, I can create these little stories that lead to fantastic images.
Which spaces or places particularly fascinate you and why?
Urban spaces where people interact fascinate me the most. They provide me with the opportunity to find my personal spot to read or observe what is happening around me. These scenarios stimulate my imagination and make me think about other possible worlds.
What is the most beautiful thing that has ever been visualized?
The cyberpunk worlds of "Blade Runner" and "Akira" are masterpieces that sparked my interest in the artistic world of architecture. Futuristic and sci-fi worlds in films continually inspire me.
What do you love doing, when you're not working as a Nightnurse?
I enjoy watching movies in my free time, fantasizing about parallel worlds, and reading. These activities offer the ideal opportunity to immerse myself in other realities.
