The enthusiastic visualizer with a perfectionist streak

Maximilian Heyl

3D Artist, Technical Lead

Max Heyl's passion for 3D visualizations began early. His journey started with his first steps in Blender on the family PC, developing into a talented visualizer and eventually finding his way to Nightnurse.

What career stages have you had?
Apart from my time as a student assistant in architectural offices and freelance work as a visualizer, Nightnurse is my first "real" job. Here, I can fully explore and develop my passion for 3D visualizations.

What is your personal superpower - and how do you use it?
My superpower is my enthusiasm. When I want to learn a new tool or software, I do so very quickly because fascination and curiosity drive me.

What brought you to Nightnurse?
My 3D journey began at age 14 when I took my first steps with Blender on the family PC. The computer never fully forgave me for that. In my studies, I created images not only for my own projects but also for my classmates. This passion eventually led me to Nightnurse.

Which spaces or places fascinate you in particular and why?
Almost any space can be fascinating for me. I am captivated by soft light situations, interesting sky scenes, reflections, and both beautiful and unattractive details. These elements catch my attention and inspire me.

What is the most beautiful thing that has ever been visualized?
I have great admiration for the works of Sebastião Salgado, Julius Shulman, and Jeff Wall. Early paintings by Yayoi Kusama or the photographic works of Beate Gütschow and Philipp Schaerer also consistently fascinate me.

What do you love doing, when you're not working as a Nightnurse?
In my free time, I typically enjoy cooking, photographing, and tinkering with small tools. I love experimenting with software and testing the limits of AI. These activities provide a creative balance and inspire my work at Nightnurse.
