What is your professional history?
My journey in design began with a personal project: building my own guitar back in school. This hands-on creation sparked my fascination with turning ideas into reality, and from there, I was drawn to architecture. I went on to study at the University of Manchester, where I built a solid foundation in design and digital visualization. After graduation, I completed several architecture internships, which gave me essential skills in CGI and an understanding of practical design applications. My first major professional step was with Raumgleiter AG in Zurich, where I spent several years honing my skills. Now at Nightnurse Images, I work closely with clients to create compelling, high-quality visuals that breathe life into architectural concepts.
What’s your personal superpower, and how do you use it at Nightnurse?
I’d say my superpower is connecting with people and finding common ground. I have a knack for seeing things from different perspectives, which helps me build strong, lasting relationships and enables effective collaboration. At Nightnurse, this has proven invaluable for working closely with clients and guiding projects to create something we’re all proud of.
What brought you to Nightnurse?
Storytelling through visuals has always been my passion. Architectural visualization and CGI allow me to bring intricate design ideas to life in a way that feels dynamic and impactful. My focus on crafting visuals that communicate and captivate naturally led me to creative direction, where I can guide projects and ensure they meet the highest standards.
Which spaces or locations fascinate you, and why?
I’m especially drawn to spaces that blend beauty with functionality – like modern urban developments and innovative public spaces. These environments push traditional design boundaries and challenge me to create visuals that evoke an emotional response and deepen people’s understanding of a space.
What’s the most beautiful thing that’s ever been visualized?
For me, the most powerful visuals are those that tell a story. Whether it’s a striking high-rise that defines a city skyline or an interior that feels inviting yet sophisticated, I’m inspired by images that leave a lasting impression and bring ideas to life in a meaningful way.
What do you love doing when you’re not working as a Nightnurse?
When I’m not working, I love to experiment with analogue photography and create electronic music. Active hobbies like skiing, hiking, and jogging keep me energized and inspired, giving me fresh ideas and energy to bring back into my work.
