The Creative Planner with an Eye for Atmosphere.

Randa Ritter

3D Artist (in Training)
Randa Ritter - Die kreative Planerin mit einem Blick für Atmosphäre

While other children eagerly unwrapped their Christmas presents, Randa Ritter was more fascinated by the wrapping paper itself. She would carefully collect it and transform it into tiny houses for her stuffed animals. Even then, it wasn’t the finished product that intrigued her, but the joy of creating something from scratch. Today, that same fascination has evolved into a professional passion for architectural visualization. At Nightnurse, she brings light, color, and materials together to craft images that evoke emotion and inspire wonder.

What is your professional background?
My fascination with building started in childhood and never faded. I trained as a drafter in architecture and initially gained experience in execution planning. However, I soon realized that my real passion wasn’t just in construction, but in the freedom of designing without limitations. The world of 3D visualization offered exactly that. So, I pursued further education as a 3D artist, specializing in visualizations and animations—leading me, eventually, to Nightnurse.

What’s your personal superpower, and how do you use it?
My superpower is structured thinking. I love planning processes and quickly recognize how a project can be best organized. This ability allows me to focus on the fine details of a visualization without ever losing sight of the bigger picture.

What brought you to Nightnurse?
My professional training and my deep fascination with images that evoke emotions. I’ve always been drawn to the impact of colors, materials, and light—both in painting and in digital design. Being able to apply this passion to my daily work and create digital worlds that move people is incredibly fulfilling.

Which spaces or locations fascinate you the most, and why?
I feel most at peace in nature—sometimes, just a walk through the forest near my village is enough to recharge me. At the same time, I am deeply inspired by urban environments, especially cities like Copenhagen. It’s a place where you can feel how well-thought-out urban planning enhances people's quality of life. One day, I’d love to visualize a project in Copenhagen—to become, at least virtually, a part of the city.

What is the most beautiful thing that has ever been visualized?
I love images that have a painterly quality—ones that could be mistaken for a photograph but use light and composition in a way reminiscent of Renaissance paintings. At the same time, I appreciate visualizations that go beyond the typical "perfect weather" aesthetic, capturing the moodiness of a rainy day and the unique atmosphere it creates.

What do you love doing when you’re not working as a Nightnurse?
Apart from painting, music is a constant companion in my life. I collect vinyl records and spend most of my time—especially when I’m alone—listening to music through my headphones. Whether it’s classic film scores, jazz, or electronic music, the variety of sounds inspires me and carries me through the day.
