The detail-oriented enthusiast with a black belt.
Simon Wiesner not only has black clothes in his closet but also a black belt—this creative mind is not just a master of visualization but also of Taekwondo.
What stages of your career have you completed?
After completing my apprenticeship as a structural draftsman in Winterthur with Mantel Architects and an internship in the physiotherapy department at KSW, I pursued my architecture studies. This was followed by an internship at the Virtual Design Unit before I began my professional career at Nightnurse.
What is your personal superpower—and how do you use it?
My superpower lies in my attention to detail. I fill my visualizations with many small, thoughtful details that bring each image to life.
What brought you to Nightnurse?
Starting my career at Nightnurse offered me the perfect opportunity to improve and refine my skills. The challenge of working in such a creative and dynamic environment excited me from the beginning.
Which spaces or places particularly fascinate you and why?
Nature fascinates me the most. Its random beauty and the tranquility it exudes are unparalleled. No place is the same as another, making each visit a new experience.
What is the most beautiful thing that has ever been visualized?
The portfolios of MIR and Northpoint Studio (Korea). The natural light atmospheres and flawless technique make these works particularly valuable to me.
What do you love doing, when you're not working as a Nightnurse?
When I'm not working on visualizations, I run a Taekwondo school. Additionally, I spend a lot of time cooking, drawing, and working on small 3D projects. These activities offer me a wonderful balance and inspire my creative work.
