Step by step to a compelling image

A strong visualization takes shape step by step. First, we define the message, viewpoint and mood. We then develop and refine every visual element to final quality.

Our Visual Workflow structures these decisions into five phases. It makes clear which source material and feedback we need at each stage – and what is agreed by the end of each phase.

We establish an overview of the project, audience and intended use of the images. Together we define the core message, intended effect, output formats, schedule and responsibilities. We also review the available plans, models and references for completeness and usability.

The result: a shared understanding of the task and a binding roadmap for everyone involved.

We explore possible viewpoints and develop options for perspective, composition and image content. Light, season, use, people and visual style become part of an image idea that carries the character of the project.

This is where we decide: which story the image will tell and which concept will guide the development.

Working from the chosen concept, we bring architecture, materials, landscape, light and furnishings together into a coherent image. The preview already contains all essential elements and makes the intended effect tangible.

Important at this stage: content, geometry and material corrections are returned in full and as one consolidated response.

We implement the agreed feedback and refine color, contrast, vegetation, people and details. In both message and quality, the final preview is already close to the finished image.

The focus is now on precision and image quality; fundamental changes to the concept are no longer planned at this stage.

We make the last agreed detail adjustments, give the image its finishing touch and check quality, resolution and file formats.

Once approved, we provide the visualizations in the agreed formats for their intended applications.

about the process

The Visual Workflow provides a shared framework. We tailor the exact timing to the scope, project stage and deadline.

Yes. In our experience, this process works well for almost every visualization project and is therefore our standard. If a project has specific requirements, we can agree on a different workflow upon request.

The standard process includes three feedback rounds, which are included in the price. They follow the image concept, the preview and the final preview. Additional feedback rounds are possible and will be charged as extra work.

Our goal is to develop a high-quality visualization from a stable project basis. If the design continues to change substantially in parallel, the moving target can affect quality, effort and scheduling. Clearly defined design adjustments are possible by agreement; depending on their timing and scope, they may require additional work.

We understand that some points only become apparent at a late stage. Where the schedule allows, we remain flexible and implement late changes. Adjustments that go beyond the agreed phase or scope are assessed in advance, and any additional work is charged transparently.
