On behalf of ProjektBeweger GmbH, we created the visualizations for the Bandwies Center – a project that reimagines and advances the urban fabric of Rüti, making a significant contribution to the development of its town center.
With Bandwies North, a new building emerges on the historic Migros site, featuring an inviting, open ground floor and green inner spaces that blend seamlessly into the urban context. On the opposite side, Bandwies South establishes a vibrant residential and community environment through a carefully composed building layout and shared outdoor areas.
Between the two parts of the development, a new central square takes shape. Together with the redesigned Bandwiesstrasse, it creates a calm and welcoming public space that encourages interaction and social exchange.
A particular challenge of the project was the coordination of the many parties involved – from architecture and landscape design to detail planning and usage concepts.

Our images tell the story of the site on Bandwiesstrasse with short walks to the supermarket, restaurant and take-away; transparency to the outside; and in three additional four-story buildings, around 80 contemporary apartments accessed via open-air galleries. A generous residential courtyard features carefully designed green spaces and passages link the complex with the center and the planned neighborhood square.
We set out to translate the district’s vitality into images: everyday scenes at ground level, encounters along the tree lined avenue and quiet moments in the courtyard, captured with natural light, clear materiality, and precise composition.
