The replacement building for Landgasthof Schützen stands in Oberboden, just outside Unterägeri. A restaurant, a separable function room and garden dining form the public base, with apartments above beneath a broad overhanging roof. The revised design uses a compact footprint, regional materials and an all-sided relationship with the surrounding recreational landscape.
Nightnurse developed a coherent series of three exterior and two interior visualizations. The images communicate the building’s volume, outdoor spaces and setting between tennis courts, garden dining and open pasture, as well as the restaurant and function room with their exposed timber structure and filtered relationship between inside and outside. Together, they provide a consistent visual basis for public communication.

Exterior and interior visualizations
Three exterior perspectives make the building’s all-sided orientation legible. They show how its compact volume responds to the terrain and mediates between the tennis club, garden dining, play area and open landscape.
The steep roof, continuous balconies and finely articulated timber facade combine a familiar regional character with the public use of the country inn. Different viewpoints anchor the building in everyday life rather than presenting it as an isolated object.
The interior visualizations continue the story in the restaurant and function room. Both are presented as bright, robust spaces where exposed timber construction, furnishings and the central service area form a coherent whole.
The timber screen in front of the glazing filters both light and views. The images demonstrate how openness to the surroundings and a sheltered interior atmosphere can exist at the same time.
