Alisa Muth

During her studies at the Technical University of Munich, Alisa Muth developed a strong connection between architecture, design and visual communication. With hands-on experience in hand-drawn visualizations and 3D animations, she now combines analogue sensitivity with digital tools. At Nightnurse, she looks forward to bringing these two worlds together across a wide range of projects.

What is your professional background?
During my studies at the Technical University of Munich, I worked as a student assistant for an interior architect, creating hand-drawn visualizations and floor plans. At the same time, I worked freelance, producing 3D animations for various brands, particularly for social media, pop-ups and store openings. This combination of traditional representation and digital formats strongly shaped my creative path. At Nightnurse Images, I’m now excited to bring together my experience in architecture, design and 3D visualization.

What’s your personal superpower, and how do you use it?
My superpower is the combination of creative intuition and curiosity. I have a good eye for composition, atmosphere and visual coherence, and I work on the details until an image feels complete. At the same time, I find it easy to learn new software and techniques quickly. When something interests me, I keep at it until I truly understand it – and then apply that knowledge directly to my projects.

What brought you to Nightnurse?
I was initially drawn to Nightnurse by the quality of its work. I first came across the studio’s visualizations during my studies and was immediately impressed by their atmosphere and high design standards. At the time, I actually said that I could imagine working there one day. What convinced me most was the variety of projects and the attention to detail evident in every image – from the lighting to the materials.

Which spaces or locations fascinate you the most, and why?
I’m fascinated by spaces that convey a clear mood from the very first moment. For me, their size or function matters less than the interplay of light, material and surroundings. I find it particularly exciting to see how spaces change with daylight and how this creates different atmospheres. These subtle shifts are what make a space feel alive and stay with you.

What is the most beautiful thing that has ever been visualized?
I’m especially inspired by the connection between art and atmosphere in classical landscape painting. Artists such as Isaac Levitan, Andrew Wyeth, Peter Ilsted and Monet are recurring sources of inspiration. If I had to choose one work, it would be Monet’s “The Magpie”, because it shows how powerfully light can transform a simple motif and create a mood that resonates far beyond the image.

What do you love doing when you’re not working as a Nightnurse?
In my free time, I love losing myself in books and immersing myself in new worlds. At the same time, I experiment a lot with creative tools and enjoy trying out software that sits outside the conventional workflow, such as Houdini or TouchDesigner. This playful exploration of new possibilities continues to inspire my design work.
