Commercial Building at the Tryber Site, Thun

At the Tryber site in Thun, Atelier Lando Rossmaier developed a flexible commercial building as a competition proposal for a plot between the railway line, Uttigenstrasse and the River Aare. A robust base and lightweight upper structure respond to the site’s industrial fabric, while open workspaces, access balconies and adaptable floor plans accommodate different ways of working and future changes of use. For the revised competition stage, Nightnurse created two exterior views and one interior visualization. The image series anchors the new building in the established site while conveying its open timber structure and the range of potential work environments. Urban integration, atmosphere and flexibility of use become legible at a glance.
